

Vania Vee Plamondon, born on February 3, 1939, passed away on December 22, 2025, at the age of 86. A resident of Genesee, Michigan, Vania was known for her compassionate and nurturing spirit. Her life was a testament to her gift and mission to love and care for others.
Vania was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and even great-great-grandmother. Her deep involvement in her church reflected her tremendous love for the Lord.
She is survived by her daughters, Bethany (Ronald) Thierbach and Shelia Cramer, and her sister, Freda Woolwine. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Willington Campbell, Joshua Plamondon, Holly Plamondon, Ricky Plamondon, Amber Parker, Daniel Cox, Ryan Kubica, John Plamondon, Jake Plamondon, Jessie Plamondon, Joanna V. Plamondon, Jennifer Plamondon, Megan Plamondon, Dalton Thierbach, Travis Thierbach, and Taylor Lewis. Vania is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Plamondon Sr., her children, Gerald Plamondon Jr., Richard Plamondon, Albert Plamondon, and Bruce Plamondon, her granddaughter, Kimberly Eaton, and her siblings, Gene Denkins, Barbara Davis, LaVada Sue Cutcher, Richard Denkins, and Howard Denkins.
Vania's life was a beacon of love and care, leaving behind a legacy cherished by her family and community.
A funeral service will be held at Brown Funeral Home, located at 1480 East Hill Road, Grand Blanc, MI 48439, on January 2, 2026, at 1:00pm. Prior to the service, a visitation will take place at the same location on January 2, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Vania will be placed at Flint Memorial Park following the Funeral service on January 2. There will be a luncheon provided by Church of God following the burial service.
