

Veraine Lucile Coleman Sulzman – Age 89, of Flint, died Sunday, January 4, 2015 at McLaren – Flint. Mrs. Sulzman was born September 25, 1925 in Flint the daughter of the late Fred and Zelma Coleman. She had worked for General Motors, Applegate Chevrolet and the Fair Store. Veraine taught quilting for Adult Ed at Swartz Creek and crochet and knitting for charity at University Hospital in Tampa, Florida. She lived in Flint all of her life spending winters in Florida. Veraine was a member of Lincoln Park United Methodist Church and the St. Lucy Guild. Surviving are her sons, Kenneth F. Sulzman, Jeffrey (Karen) Sulzman; daughter-in-law, Sue Sulzman; grandsons, Brett, Ryan, Steven, Patrick, Cody and Jacob; granddaughter, Sarah; brother, Keith Coleman; sisters, Lauretha Jeski, Gaynell Anable. Mrs. Sulzman was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Sulzman, son, Kirk Sulzman; brothers, Elwyn Dale Coleman, Max Coleman. Friends may visit the family from 11 to 1 p.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. The Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the funeral home.
