Adeline Margaret Trujillo passed away on September 20, 2021 and was born on June 15, 1945 in Mancus, CO to Leonard and Teresa Candaleria and is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is survived by her husband, Louis V. Trujillo, married 57 years; her children, Angela Sanchez and husband, Johnny, Louis Trujillo and wife, Martha, and Eddie Trujillo; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Millie, Joe, Alex and Helen. She is proceeded in death by her son, Robert Trujillo; and parents, Leonard and Teresa Candaleria.
Adeline lived her life to the fullest with a heart full of God’s love. She positively touched so many lives, young and old while leaving a lasting impression in their hearts. Her character displayed unconditional love, forgiveness, compassion and most of all, her Faith, which was her greatest asset. She will be missed by many, and will be in our hearts and forever loved. Most of all, she was an example of what a mother, wife and friend should be.
She will be laid to rest at Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Grand Junction, Colorado on October 22, 2021 and a reception will follow at Saint Joseph’s Church after the Cemetery Ceremony. A Rosary will take place at Callahan Edfast Mortuary on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 7-9PM. The church service will take place on Friday, October 22, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 11AM.
