Arlen Mark Murray

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado. Mr. Murray was a railroad engineer.

He is survived by one son, Zane of Grand Junction; three brothers, Spence of Abilene, Kansas, Kent of Whitewater and Dean of Grand Junction; and two grandchildren.

Arlen Mark Murray of Clifton, Colorado, died Monday, July 6, 2015, in his home. He was 58 years old.

Arlen was born on January 13, 1957, to Larry R. Murray and Maxine F. Murray in Grand Junction, CO. He attended Palisade High School.

He was honorably discharged from the military in 1978 where he served the Army as a Motor Transport Operator. Arlen worked as a railroad engineer after he finished serving in the Army. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and being outdoors.

Survivors include son, Zane (Breana) Murray, and grandchildren, Lyle and Kimber of Grand Junction; brothers, Spence (Georgia) of Abilene, KS; Kent (Sandra) of Whitewater, and Dean (Janice) of Grand Junction.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant son, Justin Riley Murray.

Graveside services to be held Monday, July 13, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado in Grand Junction.
