After struggling many years with dementia and then Alzheimer's, Barbara peacefully passed away surrounded by her family at the Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction from congestive heart failure. She was born Barbara Gene Billings on November 20, 1932, to Karl and Goldie Billings in Grand Junction, CO, where she lived all her life and graduated from Grand Junction High School. Soon after, she married her loving husband, Arnold Lloyd. They were married July 8, 1950, and had a long and happy life together until his death in 1996.
