Survivors include one son, Donald E. of Fruita; two daughters, Carrie J. Miller and Linda L. Lee, both of Grand Junction; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Barbara Dean (Beeby) Moore

April 12, 1925 - June 11, 2017

Barbara passed away at her daughter's home June 11, 2017, surrounded by her three children, granddaughters, grandsons, and niece. She was 92.

Barbara was born in Golf, Kansas to Irl and Carrie (Taylor) Beeby. She was raised by her mom, along with a brother and sister. They moved to Pueblo, CO when Barbara was 16. She graduated in 1944 from Centennial High School.

On a short trip to California, she met and fell in love with Don Moore. After they were married they lived in Hayden, CO, Wilson Creek, CO, and then settled in Rangely, CO. There they raised their three children, Donald Moore, Carrie (Moore) Miller, and Linda (Moore) Lee.

Barbara was very active in her church and loved Jesus dearly. Don retired from Chevron and moved Barbara to Fruita in 1979.

Don preceded Barbara in death in 2003. She is also preceded by her brother, Eugene, and sister, Alta.

She is survived by son, Donald E. (Toni) Moore of Fruita; daughter, Carrie (Pete) Miller of Grand Junction, and daughter, Linda Lee of Grand Junction; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Barbara was cremated. No services are planned at this time.
