

Bonita “Bonnie” Mae Besser, 82, passed away August 25, 2025 in Grand Junction, Colorado. Bonnie was born July 30,1943 in Buffalo, New York to Gordon and Thelma Kashner. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Besser and her parents; Gordon Kashner and Thelma Achenbach.
She is survived by her children; Tracy McFarlin-Pressley (AZ and SD), Tina McFarlin (FL), and Eric McFarlin (wife Ann) (CO), brother; Ron Kashner, and sister; Deb Kinnett. She leaves behind four grandchildren (Tanner McFarlin, Tyler McFarlin, Nikki Stangl, Ashley Casner) and two great-grandchildren (Hallie Atwood and George Stangl).
Her greatest career accomplishment was retiring as a top award-winning Avon Sales Representative of 50 years. She enjoyed knitting, crafts, shopping, canning, cooking, and Bingo. When not involved in these hobbies, she was an avid collector of Beanie Babies, Indian artifacts and Cherished Teddies. Bonnie leaves behind a beloved cat, Jazz, that now resides with Eric and Ann.
Bonnie shared her love of life and laughter with all who knew her and our cherished memories of her will be forever carried in our hearts.
