Brandi M. Nelson

Brandi Michelle Hines Nelson, 41, from Idaho Falls, passed away Friday, November 22, 2013 at her home in Grand Junction Colorado from a lingering illness.

Brandi was born April 6, 1972 in Hemet California to Shari Leatham. She was the first of four children. She grew up in California and Idaho and attended High school in Rigby. In 1981 Shari married Bob Morris and he blessed their lives and became Dad.

On September 22, 1989 Brandi welcomed her only daughter, the bright spot of her life, Allora Dawn Adams. It was always Brandi and Allora. She never fully recovered from losing Allora on September 12, 2011. As a single Mom she worked hard to support them and continue her education. In 2000 she earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech Communications from from Idaho State University.

Brandi was an avid reader and loved her books. Watching "FRIENDS" was a favorite pass time her and Allora shared. She loved her cats and working with flowers.

Brandi is survived by her loving husband, Bryan Nelson. They were married on August 19, 2011, in Boise, Idaho at Allora's bedside. Bryan was a blessing to Brandi and stood beside her through some very difficult times.

Brandi is lovingly remembered by her Dad and Step Mom, Bob and Allie Morris of Idaho Falls, her three brothers and a sister all of Idaho Falls, Lance Calhoun, Lucas (Traci) Calhoun, Dylan (Heather) Morris, and Lyndsea Morris, and her Step Daughter, Alexus Paige Nelson of Spokane, Washington. Brandi will also be missed by many Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews, and good friends.

Brandi was preceded in death by her Grandpa and Grandma Leatham, Grandpa and Grandma Morris, her Mother, Shari Leatham, and her daughter Allora Adams.

Services will be held at a later date to be determined.
