She was born on October 27, 1951 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to her parents Carol Rose Hutchinson and Robert Eldon Hutchinson. Cheryl was the youngest of three children.
She is predeceased by both parents and one brother, Jon Eldon Hutchinson. Cheryl is survived by her companion, Len Sinclair of Gypsum, Colorado, her sister Rose Anne Dowling of Palisade, Colorado, her children Tracy Sue Wells of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Chad Alan Hickey of Andover, Minnesota as well as grandchildren Tara and Logan Wells and Ryan Hickey.
She had several careers in her lifetime. She began caregiving very early in life. Cheryl had an art and teaching degree. She was a cook at Gowrie Care Center. She was a CNA and a home health aide.
Square dancing, travel, and being in nature were her passions. She never met a stranger and had many lasting friendships. She was always willing to help everyone.
Service will be held at Callahan Edfast Mortuary, 2515 Patterson Rd., Grand Junction, Colorado on Sunday, December 17, 2023. Public viewing at 2:00 p.m. and service at 3:00 p.m.
