Christopher Shane Murray

Christopher ""Chris"" Shane Murray, 51, entered into eternal peace on Sunday, June 21, 2015, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, CO, after suffering from liver failure.

He was born September 3, 1963, to parents, James Terry and Barbara Terry in Prescott, AZ. Later, he was adopted by Larry Murray upon marrying Barbara (Hurd) Terry. He went to high school at Southern Nevada Vocational Technical Center in Las Vegas, NV, studying auto body repair and graduated in 1981.

Chris is preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Barbara Murray; paternal father, James Terry of Colorado; grandparents, William and Dorothy Murray and Robert and Brita Hurd of Prescott, AZ, and Uncle Robert L. (Alice) Hurd of Las Vegas, NV.He is survived by his son, Branden Murray of Las Vegas, NV; step-daughter, Krystal (Wade) Davies and daughter of California; brother, Lance Murray of Prescott, AZ; sister, Autumn Rucci (Michael) of Channahon, IL; nephew, Elijah Kimbrell and niece, Sara Kimbrell of Channahon, IL.

He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his care-giver, Tina Heilig of Grand Junction; along with aunts, uncles, cousins in Nevada, Colorado and California. Chris made friends wherever he went and enjoyed sharing a good laugh.
