

Dennis Wayne Wilson, 79, of Colorado, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 1, 1946, to Willie and Anna Wilson, Dennis grew up with a strong work ethic, generous heart, and a deep love for the outdoors-qualities that shaped the remarkable life he lived.
On January 23, 1965, Dennis married the love of his life, Bobbi. Together they built a beautiful life filled with hard work, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership.
A successful business owner, Dennis spent most of his life in Colorado, where he formed deep roots and lifelong friendships. He had a passion for fishing, hunting, and off-road adventures, always finding joy in the mountains, rivers, and rugged landscapes he adored. Dennis was also an avid reader and loved sharing stories-especially of his mischievous youth-with his children and grandchildren.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Bobbi: his children Michelle and Rodney (wife Lisa); his brother Jerry (wife Del); 9 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by one son, Dennis Lee; and one grandson.
A funeral service to honor Dennis’ life will be held on December 9, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Callahan-Edfast, located at 2515 Patterson Rd., Grand Junction, CO 81505
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Dennis’ name to Hope West, 3090 N. 12th St., Grand Junction, CO 81501.
Above all, Dennis was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His family was the center of his world, and his legacy of warmth, strength, and humor will continue to inspire those he leaves behind. Dennis will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and the memories he created with those he cherished will live on for generations.
