home in central Arkansas.
He grew up in Antioch, AR, a small community. After graduating from Beebe High School, he immediately enlisted in the Army.
DeWayne married his sweetheart Coleen Bailey, a Paonia, Colorado girl. DeWayne and Coleen had two children, Bob and Tammy. He graduated from Denver Baptist Bible College, and pastored in Brighton and Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and Lakeport, California. He loved serving his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Coleen Davis; son, Bob (Shelisa) Davis of Belle Fourche, SD; daughter,
Tammy (Tim) Lacock of Three Hills, Alberta; siblings, Doug Davis, and Kay Kertis, grandchildren, Cheyenne, Marytta, Guy, and Dalton Davis, and Tina, TJ, Tyler, and Tara Lacock.
Services will be held at Fruita Faith Baptist Church on Thursday, June 23rd at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 24th at 1:00 p.m. at the Delta City Cemetery.
