Dora lived for her family. As a member of Canyon View Vineyard church, she taught Junior Church, Vacation Bible School and had a home ministry of Child Evangelism Good News Clubs. She loved to teach children about Jesus. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Donald; son, David Lester of Santa Clarita, CA; daughters, Debbie Reno and Denise Ludeman, both of Grand Junction, CO; brothers, Dale and Melvin Olander of Surprise, AZ; sister, Marilyn Manweiler of Greeley, CO; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Dara Lynn Lester; and sisters, Laurel Olander and Violet Norland.
Services will be held at Canyon View Vineyard Church at 10:00 am on Monday, September 21. Burial will be at Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado at 1:00.
