Doris L Wilson, passed away on Jan. 18th 2026, in Grand Junction, CO. She was 94 years old. She was born April 18, 1931 in Washburn, North Dakota. Her parents were Berneice and Arthur Falck. She attended school and was raised on their farm in Washburn N. D.
Doris married Arthur Lee Wilson in 1948. They enjoyed RV camping, traveling, VFW volunteering, and being with family for over 50 happy years until Arthur passed away in 1999.
Doris was active in the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and served as the president. She met Dave Torrez, a fellow VFW member, and formed a happy relationship with him for over 16 years. They enjoyed cruises, casino trips and family get togethers. She was a devoted mother to her six children, nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. She is survived by all six of her kids, Ronald Dean Wilson, Connie Jean (John) Bernhart, Marilee Ann (George) Neece, Dale Leslie (Terrie) Wilson, Colleen Kay (Ray) Neece, and Bryon Douglas (Gerda) Wilson.
