Emagene Marion Puckett

Emagene Puckett, born on November 2, 1933, in Mesa, Colorado, passed away at the age of 90 on August 25, 2024, in Grand Junction, Colorado. Raised in the Mesa and DeBeque area, as well as Naturita and Nucla, Colorado, Emagene was a dedicated homemaker who devoted her life to nurturing her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet Puckett of Grand Junction, CO; grandsons Joseph Puckett of Green River, WY, Robert Puckett (Shauntelle) of Green River, WY, Darrel Puckett of Grand Junction, CO; granddaughters Angela Puckett-Maez of Laramie, WY, Septimber Pope (Ryan) of Grand Junction, CO, Sadie Faller (Kurt) of Grand Junction, CO, and Hannah Taylor (Hunter) of Grand Junction, CO. Emagene was also a proud great-grandmother to 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, with another on the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Dale Puckett; her parents, Marion and Evelyn Crandell; her brother, Charles Crandell; her sister, Leota Crandell; and her sons, Robert and Jimmie Puckett.

Throughout her life, Emagene found joy in knitting and crocheting, skills she passed on to her family members, weaving warmth and love into every stitch.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 10:30 am at Callahan Edfast Mortuary in Grand Junction, Colorado, followed by a reception. Internment will take place at 1:30 pm at the Orchard Mesa Cemetery.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Abode Hospice at 744 Horizon Ct #110, Grand Junction, CO.
