Esther Joyce Dangler

A visitation for Esther will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary & Crematory, 2515 Patterson Rd., Grand Junction, Colorado 81505. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM, 2515 Patterson Rd., Grand Junction, Colorado 81505. An interment will occur Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Orchard Mesa Cemetery, 2620 Legacy Way, Grand Junction, CO 81503.

The family of Joyce Dangler would like to share the news of Joyce’s passing on October 13, 2021. She passed away at Community Hospital surrounded by her children and grandchildren who loved her dearly. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great great mother, sister, and friend. Joyce was born in Fountain, Colorado on September 6, 1933 to Anna Laura (Bessie) and Jesse Mc Neely.

Joyce lived in several small towns in Colorado growing up but met and married her husband Larry Dangler in Grand Junction, Co. They were married September 30, 1950 and were married 66 years and having their family in Anaheim, California and returning to Grand Junction in 1976. Joyce was a homemaker providing a wonderful home for her family of three children; Leta (Wilburn), Larry Dangler and Tammie (Dalton) Dangler, all of Grand Junction, co. They had 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Dangler, her parents; Bessie and Jesse McNeely and a sister, Dorothy, and a brother, Earl (Buddy) McNeely.

Joyce lived her life knowing she would be re-united with her loved ones through Jesus Christ our Lord. We will be celebrating our beloved Joyce on October 19 at 11:00 PM at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
