Gary was a wonderful man and great friend.  So much fun ~ so many good times ~ wonderful memories.

Gary Bacon was a most memorable man.  Today, my mother that still lives in Rock Springs brought a month's worth stack of the Rocket Miner, the local newspaper from my home town, to me and I read of our loss.  I worked with Gary out at Black Butte as several others who have written in this guestbook.  Gary had a common sense approach that is most uncommon.  It has been over 15 years since I worked with Gary and we had been out of contact for that long.  I saw the obituary in the Rocket Miner and figured it was the Gary Bacon that I knew based on his age, knowing that he had a couple of years on me.  I was happy to see the webpage so I could just say something about the fact that Gary had left a lasting impression on me, one that has been 15+ years since.  I can see from the photos that Gary has been Gary for the last 15 years or so after the Black Butte days.  Gary Bacon was a most memorable man!

Bonnie, We shared Gary's life when he was here in Farmington. We car pooled to work together and sang Tracy Lawrence songs. To me I called him Gary Ray. Bonnie I truely ment what I said when I told you that you are an amazing woman. One of the strongest woman I have known.I am so sorry for your hurt. Gary was one of a kind. He was funny, loved to tell stories, jokes.He
 was always smiling and looking handsome. You to were soul mates for sure. He loved you so much and you loved him just as much. Not many people get to have a SOULMATE but you two were blessed. Just stay strong and you are going to make it through. Gary is in heaven eating crakers drom my moms cabinet. LOL I love you Bonnie and if I can do anything for you I will. Just ask.

Bonnie i want to thank you and Gary for all the great times and laughs you have brought into my life! Many many many good memories and all the "cowboy logic" Gary had to offer. He is with my mom right now telling his "stories" and making her laugh so hard she is crying! i can not begin to tell you how my heart aches for you! I love you much!!
