Gerald “Jerry” A. Peterson, 66, of Grand Junction, Colorado, died on 02/10/2025. He was a dedicated father, proud grandfather, and cherished partner. Jerry is survived by his daughters, Abbie Shaffer and Kaylee Peterson; son-in-law, Cody Shaffer; granddaughter, Vivian Shaffer, who was the light of his life; and life partner, Catherine Sheader. Jerry’s life was marked by a quirky sense of humor, his unwavering love for his family, and his honorable service in the US Navy. A funeral will be held in the spring. The family wishes to thank all who have extended their love and support during this difficult time.
