Harold A. Daniels

May 1, 1940 – February 14, 2015

Harold Allen Daniels of Fruita, CO, passed away on February 14, 2015 at the HopeWest Hospice Care Center, Grand Junction, CO, he was 74.

He was born on May 1, 1940 in Oroville, CA to Merle and Floyd Daniels. Colorado has been his home since 1966 where he met his wife Betty J. Balderston and married on May 25, 1968.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and woodworking. His passion in life was his family.

He leaves behind his son; Howard (Lesa) Daniels of Delta; his daughters; Tammy (Gary) Broughton of Crawford, Kim (Ron) Hammack of Fruita, Tarra (James) McArtor of Hotchkiss; grandchildren; Dwayne Daniels, Debbie Daniels, Tanya (Ray) Keesey, Michael Rogers, Mindy (Danny) Tea, Amanda Rogers, Dillan (Amber) Hammack, Wyatt McArtor, Connor McArtor and Ian Hundley; five great-grandchildren; his niece Patty Johnson and nephew Tinker Daniels.

Harold was preceded in death by his wife; Betty Daniels, two brothers; Glen and Milton and grand-daughter Tiffany Rogers.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 20, 2015 at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Paonia, CO. A luncheon will follow at the home of Tammy and Gary Broughton in Crawford, CO.
