Harold Lloyd Manley, 87, of Fruita, CO passed away on August 19, 2016.
Harold was born to Ralph and Nellie Manley (Duncanson) in Kirk, Colorado. He was one of 4 children and moved to the Grand Valley from Eastern Colorado at a young age. He is proceeded in death by his wife, Donna; parents and two sisters, Donna and Beverly. Survivors include one sister, Marilyn Haller of Fruita; 4 sons: Gary of Fruita, Greg (Kim) of Grand Junction, Glen (Lisa) of Fruita and Curtis of Craig; four grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Harold attended and graduated from Fruita Union High School and Mesa State College. He was in the band and played on the baseball team. Harold joined the US Air Force in August 1950 and was stationed in Cheyenne Wyoming until he was honorable discharged in October 1953. He settled in Fruita, Colorado and raised his family here while working and eventually retiring from Mountain Bell Telephone Company in 1992. Harold loved hunting, camping and tending his farm in Fruita. Harold had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. The greatest loves in Harold’s life was the Lord and his family.
