

Irene Belle Kier passed peacefully into her Heavenly Father’s arms on January 29, 2018. She was 94 years old. She was born in Shenandoah, Iowa to Vernon Allen Dolph and Alma Elizabeth Dolph. She is predeceased by her brothers, Harry Harvey Dolph and Bert Allen Dolph and her sister, Blanche Bays. She married John A. “Jack” Kier on December 10, 2010 in Downey, Idaho. She is survived by her husband John A. “Jack” Kier; son, Walter E. “Butch” Wilson (Jani); grandson, Bryce Garrett Wilson (Carmen); great-grandchildren, Haley Rose Wilson and Jude Garrett Wilson. Irene was predeceased by two sons Richard Wilson and David Wilson. Irene lived in Colorado for 40 years, first in Cedaredge and for the past 28 years in Grand Junction. Irene’s community service included Calvary Bible Church, Missionaries, the Pregnancy Women’s Center and Hospice HopeWest. Her love, servant’s heart and giggles will be missed by all.
There will be a funeral service at 11am, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Calvary Bible Church, 629 27 ½ Road Grand Junction, Colorado 81501 followed by a light meal. A graveside service will be held at Cedaredge Cemetery, 205 E Independence Avenue, Cedaredge, Colorado 81413, immediately after the light meal.
