Isidora Maria Romero

March 2, 1931 – December 14, 2012

Isidora Romero passed away December 14, 2012 with her loving family surrounding her, she was 81.

Isidora was born on March 2, 1931 in Cuba, NM to Dionisia Archuleta and spent her childhood in the San Luis Valley of Colorado. She was a member of the Grand Junction community for fifty-three years and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading; crocheting listening to Spanish music, in her early years she enjoyed spending time camping, hiking and fishing.

Isidora leaves behind her four daughters; Stella Armenta and Sharon Palma both of Grand Junction, CO, Jeanette Romero of Northglenn, CO and Rhoda (Dodie) Alamo of Sandy, UT, a brother; Eugene Gonzales of Albuquerque NM, twelve grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sisters; Mary, Angela and Gloria, brothers; Leroy, Eduardo and Gaspar.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 20, 2012 at St Joseph Catholic Church. A Rosary service will be held from 6-7 pm, Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Martin Mortuary.
