

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. today at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Inurnment will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.
He was a drilling supervisor.
Survivors include three daughters, Teresa Sorenson and Carolyn Williams, both of Fruita, and Kristina Etie of Vacaville, California; one sister, Janet Peterson of Texas; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
James Wayne Langston, 82, of Fruita, CO went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017.Visitation for friends and family will be Saturday, Feb. 11 between 2pm and 4pm at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary 2515 Patterson Rd. Grand Junction, CO.
Graveside services will be held Feb. 14 at 10AM at Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 2830 Riverside Pkwy, Grand Junction, CO.
Wayne was born May 31, 1934 to Davis ""Buddy"" and Hazel Langston in Borger, TX. He served in the Navy and was a Korean War vet. He married Lenna Fae Robertson on Jan. 26, 1962. Together, they raised her son and daughter, Stanley and Carolyn Williams and their daughters Teresa Sorensen and Kristina Etie and made their home in Grand Junction. Wayne worked for many years as a drilling supervisor in the Energy Industry. He was also a member of Bookcliff Baptist church in Grand Junction for several years.
His favorite past time was spending time with his family and friends and getting to go fishing whenever he could. He was an avid Broncos fan and played a good game of dominoes. Wayne never met a stranger and called everybody friend. He was a beloved dad to his children and a wonderful grandpa to his 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He will be forever in our hearts.
