

Celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at 677 30 Road. Reception and meal will follow from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
He was a heavy equipment operator and mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy; three daughters, Felicia Caddy, Ashley Keeling, and Trista Wyckoff; one brother, William D. ; one sister, Marie Fox; and four grandchildren.
James D. Seibert, age 58, passed away peacefully at home on August 12, 2016.
Jim was born on December 14, 1957 in Grand Junction, CO to his parents Albert and Juanita (McLeod) Seibert. Jim was raised in Grand Junction and graduated from Central High School in 1976. Jim was married to his wife Nancy Wright in 1977. Jim and Nancy spent their early years together living in several places in Colorado as well as Utah pursuing Jim’s career as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic. Jim and Nancy finally settled in Grand Junction, CO in 1989. Jim was a great family man, and loving father and grandfather to his three daughters and four grandchildren who were the passion of his life. Jim was a fun loving, and active man with a deep love for the outdoors. Jim was an excellent hunter and could be found in the mountains of Colorado every fall hunting for deer and elk. He would spend each winter riding snowmobiles and sledding on the Grand Mesa. Throughout the summer he would spend his time riding 4-wheelers, shooting guns and fishing all over Western Colorado. Jim always made sure to share his great adventures with his friends and family.
Jim is survived by the love of his life for 38 years Nancy (Wright) Seibert. Jim and Nancy had three beautiful daughters Felicia (Jarrett) Caddy, Ashley (Jimmy) Keeling, and Trista (Ryan) Wyckoff. Jim is also survived by his four wonderful grandchildren Daniel and Madisyn Caddy and Brook and Wyatt Keeling. Jim also leaves behind his brother William D. Seibert and sister Marie Fox. Jim is preceded in death by his mother and father.
A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at his home at 677 30 Road Grand Junction, CO on Saturday August 20th at 10am. Friends and family will be invited to share stories and memories of Jim. A barbeque will follow from 11am until 2pm all are welcome to attend. The family would like to thank everyone for all their love, prayers, and support through this hard time.
