Jamie was born August 23, 1989 in San Jose, CA to Joseph and Penny Nash Hassler. He attended Fruita Middle School and had completed the 7th grade. Jamie's hobbies included fishing and camping and he enjoyed music. He also loved Elmo.
Survivors include Joseph and Toni Hassler of Fruita, CO and Penny Cook of Grand Junction; Brothers, Joey Hassler, who is stationed on the USS Johnson Stennis in the South Pacific, Jeremy Hassler of Grand Junction and Mathew Cook of Grand Junction; sister Jessica Hassler of Grand Junction and Jebylynn Hendrickson of Grand Forks ND.
Funeral Services will be Monday, July 19, at 10 a.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary Chapel, Visitation will be Sunday, From 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home, Burial will be in New Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita, CO
