Janeth Alaire Murphy

Janeth A Murphy, passed away on Jan 5th 2026 in Grand Junction, CO she was 94 years old. She was born Dec, 21, 1931 in Cedaredge CO. To the parents Clifford and Ester Ament. She was happily married to Robert Murphy for over 20 years. She graduated Highschool in Cedaredge, CO and then became a Beautician soon after. She had successful Beauty shop that she operated in her home in Grand Junction CO.

She was a devoted mother to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters Marla and Nancy. Grandchildren Rachel, Jeff, Rebekah, and Elise. She has 3 grandsons Michael, Ben, And Lucas and was a great, great, grandmother to Michel Patrick. She was also very close to her Niece Janet.

She always had an open ear and heart and would always do her best to help others and be kind to anyone. She loved going out to coffee everyday and getting her morning donut at the local coffeeshop. She was active in her church. She enjoyed traveling and favorite place she visited was Alaska with her late husband “Bob” with her granddaughters. She was always a jokester and loved practical jokes. She had one of the greatest laughs. She had a gentle soul and all animals and children loved her. She always had a smile on her face. Through the trials and tribulations of life she always managed she see the best in everything. She always made sure you left with a smile.
