

Jerry Chadwick passed away the morning of November 10th, with his eternal sweetheart and daughters by his side. He was 88 years old.
He was born February 14,1935 to Fay and Della Chadwick Lehi, Utah. He
graduated from American Fork High School in 1954, then attended BYU, graduating with a
Master's degree in Accounting. He met his childhood sweetheart, Julia Adele Garrett at the age
of 15 at a dance, and they later married in the Salt Lake LDS temple. They are the parents of 3
daughters, and enjoyed 67 wonderful years together.
Jerry and Adele moved to Colorado in 1960 to begin his accounting career. He later helped
establish with his partners the accounting firm of Chadwick, Steinkirchner, Davis and Co. (CSD).
He retired at the age of 67 and during that time, he was active in the community with Lion's
Club, as well as holding positions on the board of St. Mary's Hospital, Hilltop, and Bookcliff
Country Club. In his retirement years, he found joy in fly fishing, golfing, skiing and traveling.
He was also an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as
ward Bishop, and Stake President of the Grand Junction West Stake.
Jerry is survived by his "little wiffy" Adele, daughters Terri (Steve) Driscoll, Crista (Scott) White,
as well as his 3 grandchildren: Hayden (Madi) White, Riley White, and Samantha (Jeremiah)
Dunmire, and brother Steven (JoLane) Chadwick.
He is preceded in death by his parents Fay and Della Chadwick, and daughter Bunny.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in his name to Abode Hospice of Grand Junction.
