Mr. Stephens was a master upholsterer.
Survivors include two sons, Kelley Stephens of Phoenix and Dan Parker of Mancos; two brothers, Aggie Stephens and Chuck Grimsley, both of Grand Junction; one sister, Beatrice Grimsley of Clifton; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Jerry L. Stephens, age 77, passed away peacefully at home in Grand Junction, Colorado on December 4, 2014.
Jerry was born on October 1, 1937, in Abernathy, Texas to Evelyn L. and A.R. Stephens. Jerry was a Master Upholster here in the valley for many years.
He is survived by his brothers, Aggie (Mary Ann) Stephens, and Chuck (Sylvia) Grimsley; sister, Bea Grimsley all of Grand Junction; brothers, Mark Stephens of Texas; sisters, Linda Prather of Texas; Carol Stephens, and Janis Hartin both of Florida; sons, Kelley Stephens of Arizona; Dan (Lisa) Parker of Mancos, Colorado; granddaughters, Brandie and Abriel; three great-grandchildren, aunts, uncle, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn Grimsley Harris and step-father, Marshall Grimsley; A.R. and step-mother, Alta Stephens and brothers, Wayne Stephens and Johnny Stephens.
Services will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, 2515 Patterson Rd., Grand Junction, CO.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory, can be made to the American Red Cross or Salvation Army.
