Mr. Barboe was in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a mechanic.
Survivors include one son, Rex of Grand Junction; three daughters, Ellen Chiaro of Clifton, Patti Kimler of Port Orchard, Washington, and Terri Dunaway of Midlothian, Virginia; two stepsons, David Boyce of New Castle, Washington, and John Boyce of Julian, California; one stepdaughter, Vicki Firth of Surf City, North Carolina; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
