

A visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Crossroads United Methodist Church.
Mr. Baughman was the owner of T&J Mini Storage.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; four sons, Kevin E. Baughman of Milo, Iowa, Mike H. Baughman of Indianola, Iowa, Jeremy S.J. Utter of Jamestown, Pennsylvania, and Lorenzo De Quezada of Grand Junction; two daughters, Jana L. Farris of Silt and Adriana B. Quezada of Grand Junction; two brothers, Ralph of Iowa City, Iowa, and Robert of Garrison, Iowa; two sisters, Edith Hemstra of Lacona, Iowa, and Marilyn Porter of Dallas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

John E. Baughman, 78, of Grand Junction, Colorado, left this world September 9, 2015, at HopeWest Hospice in Grand Junction.
John was born August 26, 1937 to Howard and Edna Feight-Baughman in Russell Iowa. He was a member of the Iowa National Guard and Army Reserve. He married Ada Johnson. There were two children born of that marriage: Kevin E. Baughman and Mike H. Baughman. They were later divorced.
In 1983 he moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where he met and married Mary ""Kathy"" Utter (Schneller) September 1, 1984. She brought one son into the marriage, Jeremy Utter.
In 1985, they moved to Grand Junction, Colorado, where he owned and operated T & J Mini Storage. Prior to moving to Kansas City, he also farmed and ran a gas station and garage.
He enjoyed gardening, square-dancing, traveling, and helping others.
John is survived by his wife, Kathy Baughman, of Grand Junction, CO, sons Kevin (Jennifer) Baughman and Mike (Lindsey) Baughman of Iowa, Jeremy Utter of Grand Junction, daughter Jana (Doc) Farris of Colorado, grandchildren Jadin, Stephanie, Amos, Sherrie, Adriana, and Lorenzo, and one great-grandchild, Saphira Rose. He is survived by two brothers and two sisters, and preceded in death by his parents and two brothers and four sisters.
