John Martin

John was born on August 3, 1939, in Fargo, ND, to John Harold Martin, and Jeanette (Reed) Martin. He married Joanne Giebler, and they were married for 38 years. Besides Joanne, he is also survived by his brother, Thomas in Tyler, TX; five children, John, Andrea, and Christopher, living in the Seattle, WA area and Michael and Matthew, both living in Salt Lake City, UT; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Army Reserves for eight years.

John worked in the automotive industry, selling automotive after-market parts, and later sold automotive chemicals. After retiring ten years ago, he took a part-time job delivering medications to retirement homes and blood products to hospitals.

John loved most being with family and tinkering in the garage on cars and various projects.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Tracy; and a brother, Richard.

His life will be celebrated on March 26, 2021 at 3pm at the Callahan-Edfast Chapel.
