Jorge Alberto Gomez Zambrano, 41, passed away at Community Hospital in Grand Junction, CO, on December 28, 2018. He was born on February 26, 1977, to Dora Zambrano and Jorge Gomez, Sr. in La Lima, Honduras.
Jorge spent his childhood in Honduras, New Mexico, and Colorado. He graduated from Fruita Monument in 1995. He was the head chef at Two Rivers Convention Center. He also did catering and was a CDL driver. His interests including cooking, everything Broncos, football, and motorcycles. He loved his girls and his family.
He is survived by his father, Jorge Gomez, Sr.; daughters, D’Angelise Amalia Gomez, Lizette Esperanza Gomez, and Naveen Leigh Gomez; wife, Amanda Gomez; and sisters, Dora Vanessa Gomez, and Josephine Karina Delgado. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dora Lizette Gomez Zambrano.
A Memorial Service will be held at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary at 1PM on January 2, 2019, with burial to follow at Orchard Mesa cemetery. Please wear Broncos gear to the Memorial Service.
