Kathy was born in Grand Junction, Co on May 17, 1974 to Fred & Saundra Arnspiger. Kathy had an immense passion for her family, her faith, and the great outdoors. She spent much of her childhood up on the Uncompadre National Forest with her parents and sisters. Up on the Unc the girls learned about the wildlife and spent a lot of time collecting arrowheads. Their family trips sparked Kathys love for the great outdoors. She was a lover of camping and all things fishing. A passion that she shared with her daughter and many nieces and nephews. She accepted everyone with open arms, an open heart, and a big smile. It didn't take long for "auntie Kathy" to take you in as family and once you were family she had your back even when you did something dumb. Kathy was always a phone call away, ready and willing to take on anything for those she loved. Kathy spent her life not asking for help but learning how to do things on her own and often impressed those who didn't know her with her ability to do so. She was a "jack of all trades". Kathy had an unmatched love for Jesus and spent her nights listening to country music and reading her bible. If there was anything Kathy loved as much as the Lord it was her babies. She loved spending time with her daughter and many nieces and nephews and often was a refuge for them when they needed one. Auntie was a best friend and a 2nd parent to them all. Her babies were a true happiness for her in life.
Kathy lived in such a way you couldn't help but love her. Through all the stories told after her passing one word kept coming up.... She was loud. She was loud in a way that made people smile. She had a laugh you could hear two rooms away and know it belonged to her. She was loud in love and faith. Kathys love for Jesus was her guiding light and through her faith, although not ready, she took comfort in knowing she was going home to the Lord.
Let her memory live on through those she loved and the lives she touched. Take comfort in knowing she has made it home into the arms of her Lord and savior and know that no matter what comes next in life she is walking it with you.
"The Beauty Of A Memory Is That Its Always There,
Like A Penny In Your Pocket, You Can Take It Anywhere,
And When Your Heart Is Heavy And Your Eyes Are Filled With Tears,
You Can Focus On A Memory And Travel Through The Years,
Your Heart Can Visit Happy Times, When Laughter Filled The Air,
And The Presence Of Your Loved One Will Lessen Your Despair,
So As You Travel On In Life, Take Comfort As You Go,
In A Lifetime Of "Sweet Memories" Of One You Loved So."
