Keegan Matthew MacLeod

Born on October 23, 1998, in Columbus, OH, he was the son of Tracy McDearis (French) and Michael MacLeod.

Keegan was an aircraft mechanic for WestStar Aviation where he achieved a number of industry certifications and was recognized by management and co-workers as talented, dedicated and reliable. He enjoyed disc golfing, hiking and camping with family and friends.

Keegan was an integral member of Globochem, VR Esports Team, traveling globally for competitions making friends from everywhere, that continued long after competition ended. He loved listening to classic rock on vinyl and playing guitar.

Keegan is preceded in death by his grandfather, Frederick Hanson MacLeod and his step-grandfather, Charles Richard McDearis.

Keegan is survived by his father, Michael MacLeod (Amy); mother, Tracy McDearis (Kevin); brother, Nicholas MacLeod (Belle); stepsisters: Sara Taylor (Seth), Hanna Rohr, Madison McDearis, Bailey McDearis and stepbrother, Carson McDearis.

Family will receive friends at the Visitation on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 2:00-4:00pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 1520 Rifle Range Road, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 2:00pm also at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 1520 Rifle Range Road, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.
