

Kenny was born on May 10, 1948 in Cleveland, UT from the union of Burton and Vivian Dye. He spent his childhood in Emery County and was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints Church.
Kenny was a United States Army veteran honorably discharged as a Sargent and later became a Railroad Machine Operator. He previously lived in Ivins, Utah and was a Grand Junction, Colorado resident since September 2021.
He married Valerie Poulter and they later divorced. He married Dorothy Bigham on August 4, 1979 in Price Utah and she preceded him in death.
Kenny leaves behind three sons; Lloyd Dye and Justin Dye of Idaho Falls, ID, Richard Dye of Fruita, CO. two daughters; Sherelle Dye of Idaho Falls, ID and Jessica McDaniel of Mack, CO. three brothers; Denzil Dye of Price, UT, Perry Dye of Salt Lake City, UT, Mike Dye of Huntington, UT, five sisters; Donna Larson, Mary Brown, Karen Anderson all of Salt Lake City, UT, Nona Eslinger of Hagerman ID and Ilene Hansen of Huntington, UT. He also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren to cherish his memory.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Rochelle Dye.
A military honors service will take place at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado followed by a Celebration of Life service at the south side of Long Family Memorial Park, Grand Junction.
