It is with the greatest sorrow that we announce the passing of our fabulous Lacy-Lou. Lacy Ashtyn Baldwin (age 15) passed peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of Tuesday, November 16th after a lifelong battle with epilepsy. Lacy was born on June, 5 2006 to parents Al and Tami Baldwin in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Lacy loved Elvis Presley, bouncy balls, bubbles, music, singing with Grandma Ann, dance parties, books, coloring, bandaids, tooth brushes, swimming, every stuffed animal (ever!), McDonald's, and she especially loved her big brother, “Babo” (Brandon) and looked up to him in a huge way. Lacy’s radiant smile brought a spark of pure joy, happiness, and unconditional love to every soul she touched. She was very active in the local Special Olympics, Challenger Baseball, a sophomore at Fruita Monument High School, and made so many incredible friends along the way that made her life all the richer. Lacy faced her medical battles with a fortitude and resilience that inspired all who knew her story. She was so loved by the community and she never met a stranger. The impact she had on all of us in such a short time was larger than many accomplish in a lifetime. Lacy truly left a little sparkle wherever she went.
Lacy is preceded in death by her Papa, Jim Sanders, and Grandmother, Wanda Baldwin.
Lacy is survived by her Mother “Her Tami” Tami Sanders, Father Al Baldwin (Lori), Brother Brandon “Babo” Baldwin, her beloved service dog Lexi, Grandma Ann Sanders, Aunt Kim “Mimi” Boehm (Brian, Tess, Connor), Uncle Coy Baldwin (Carrie, Ryan, Madison, Jake), and countless friends that were very much family.
Services will were held at AP Ranch in Loma Colorado on Tuesday November 23rd at 11 am with a fellowship reception afterwards. Lacy loved bright colors and funky outfits, so please feel free to dress in pink, purple, or any other bright color!. Graveside services will be held at Cedar Crest Cemetery in Colbran.

God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be.
So he wrapped his arms around you, and whispered, “come to me”.
You didn’t deserve what you went through, so he gave you rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful, he only takes the best.
And when I saw you sleeping, so peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back to suffer that again.
