Leroy Stremel

LeRoy lived most of his life as a Cattle rancher and farmer in Kansas. He retired to Grand Junction in 1998 to be near his children and grandchildren. He loved watching sports, especially baseball. He loved watching the Rockies, and attending his grandchildren’s baseball and softball games.

LeRoy is survived by his brother, Frank (Helga), Hays, KS and two sisters, Marilyn Niernberger, Richmond, VA, and Jeanette Cannon, Plantation, FL, and his five children: Glen, Tempe, AZ. Susan Stremel-Flynn, Glendale, AZ. Theresa (Tony) Englbrecht, Grand Junction, CO. Steve (Julianne), Hays, KS. and Michael (Sharon), Denver, CO. LeRoy is also survived by his 5 grandchildren; Megan 22, Hannah 16, Joe 15, Gregory 6, and Jordan 4.

A mass and memorial service is planned for August in Hays, KS. Memorial contributions should be made to Royce Hurst Humane Society, PO Box 510, Clifton, CO 81520
