

Linda joined the The US Coast Guard in 1973
Earning the rank of Yeoman and was honorably discharged in 1995. She went on to work at the Federal Center in Denver for 12 years as Fleet Manager.
She loved to travel either with Ports of Call or on her own and traveled to countries all over the world. She was in different interest groups or organizations including a Gold Panning group, Crazy Quilt Guild, African Violets Association, International Organization of Lace, and Rocky Mountain Lace Guild where she served two terms as President, from 2009 to 2013. Linda never met a craft she didn't like including quilting, making Victorian lampshades, beadwork, Victorian hair weaving, making different styles of lace, antiquing and collecting.
While President of the lace guild, Linda was instrumental in surveying the entire Lace collection of the Denver Art Museum. She also served as a Judge at the Colorado State Fair for the lace division.
Linda was a strong, independent woman, never married, loved animals and was very friendly, funny and adventurous.
