Lois J. Spears

Lois was born on September 7, 1931 in Monte Vista, Colorado from the union of Peter and Isadora Entz. She spent her childhood in the San Luis Valley and graduated from the Sargent High School.

She married Clayton F Spears Sr and he preceded her in death, they were married forty-two years.

Lois had previously lived in Fort Morgan, Northglenn, Glade Park and Fruita, Colorado. She was a member of the Redlands Community Church and worked as a Mesa Manor attendant, in-home Health Care and was a homemaker to her family.

Friends and family all know that Lois was a long time Denver Broncos fan, she loved to travel and spent many hours volunteering.

Lois leaves behind a son, Clayton F Spears Jr. of Arvada, Colorado, a daughter, Donna Ockstadt of Black Forest, Colorado, a brother, Lewis Entz of San Luis Valley, Colorado and a sister, Vivian Snow of Amanda Park, Washington. She also leaves behind twelve grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild to cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by eight siblings and her children, Jack Clark, Jeanette Barros and JoAnn Dunn.

A memorial service will be held at a later date with burial to take place at the Glade Park Cemetery.
