Maureen Elizabeth Crane

Maureen was born in Caernarfon, Wales, UK to James and Mabel Kavanagh on January 23, 1941. She went to school in Portsmouth, England. She married Morris Hansen Crane December 18, 1970 in Biggleswade, England. The United States Air Force took them all over the world: Shefford, England; Denver, Colorado; Valparaiso, Florida; Omaha, Nebraska; Brendisi, Italy; Caribou, Maine. After their first retirement, they lived in San Clemente and Oceanside California then Grand Junction, Colorado.

Maureen is preceded in death by her parents: Mabel and James Kavanagh.

Maureen is survived by her devoted husband, Morris Crane; children Debra Smith, Michele Moody, Kelly Smith and Travis Crane; her siblings John Kavanagh, Peter Kavanagh, Dorothy Franklin and Margaret Kavanagh-Tonkins; and grandchildren, Emma Mclaughlin, Lyndsy Burton, Kirstie Steele, Kayleigh and Laura Lacey, Kelani Peoples, Noah, Max and Gabriel Crane.

Services were held January 2nd and 3rd in Grand Junction, Colorado. Pallbearers were Colin Young, Wendell Smith, Kelani Peoples, Travis Crane, Craig Peters and Jeremy Foss.

The family of Maureen wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the hospice staff of Hope West in Grand Junction, Colorado for their continued care and support.
