Miriam Sharp of Grand Junction died on October 11, 2016 at Larchwood Inns. She was 93.
Services will be held Saturday, October 15th at Martin Mortuary Grand Junction, Colorado.
The viewing will be between 11:30am and 12:30pm followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm
Miriam was born in Grand Junction on October 25, 1922 to Merle and Hazel Scott. She spent her childhood in Appleton and California and graduated from high school at Appleton High School in 1941 as Salutation of her class. She married Vernon Sharp of Grand Junction on June 6, 1943. After Vernon’s discharge from the Army they returned to Appleton. They had two children and later Miriam worked at the Mesa County Clerk’s office until she retired. Her greatest joy was her family.
Survivors include her daughter Enid Sharp of Grand Junction, son Glen Sharp (Joann) of Paradox; 6 grandchildren, Lesa (Jim Childers of Edwards, Mike (Kelly) Gardner of Loveland, Gara (Brian) Ross, Bob Sharp, Brandon Sharp and Trisha Sharp all of Grand Junction; 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandsons and special friends, Judy Trueblood, Sandi Antonelli and Otis Littlejohn.
Miriam is preceded in death by her husband Vernon, her sister, parents and many loved ones and friends.
