Survivors include one son, Daniel Ruben of Grand Junction; two brothers, Paul J. Gladhill and Robert Gladhill, both of Minnesota; and two sisters, Birdie Wolf and Jane Deglman, both of Minnesota.
Nancy Jean Carbajal passed away on November 16, 2014, in Grand Junction, Colorado. She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on November 16, 1956. After growing up in Minneapolis, she served 20 years in the Navy from 1975 to 1995. During her time in the Navy, she served in Japan, South Carolina, and California, and on the USS Ajax and the USS Acadia. She received numerous medals during her time in the Navy and was a Storekeeper First Class at her retirement.
After her retirement from the military, Nancy lived in Grand Junction working for MDS, now known as Strive. She was on a bowling league and loved to paint ceramics and make crafts. Owls inspired Nancy to be a great person. She gave of herself more than anyone could ever ask. Nancy will be loved and missed by many.
Nancy is survived by her son, Daniel R. Carbajal, and two sisters and two brothers.
