She married the love of her life, Vernon Dean Deaver on September 30, 1957 in Fukuoka City, Japan.
Noriko has lived in Grand Junction, Colorado for 22 years and previously lived in Craig, Colorado and Fallon, Nevada. She spent her childhood in Hitachi, Japan where she completed high school.
Noriko was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. One of her favorite hobbies was gardening which she truly loved.
Noriko was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking. She was a talented seamstress, knitter and crocheter. Noriko is survived by her daughters Jeanne L. Deaver of San Diego, California and Catherine Cheryl Braby of Centennial, Colorado and son James Dean Deaver of Coronado, California. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2542 G Road, Grand Junction, CO 81505 and her ashes will be place privately at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western CO at a later date.
