

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.
Mr. Yutzy was a mechanic.
Survivors include two sons, Paul II of Clifton and David B. of Bahrain; two brothers, William of El Dorado, Arkansas, and John of Hutchinson, Kansas; two sisters, Elizabeth Adams and Emma Miller, both of Hutchinson; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Paul Yutzy, Sr.

Paul Vernon Yutzy, Sr., passed away peacefully on August 22, 2014.
Paul was born to Daniel and Mary Yutzy in Hutchinson, Kansas, on June 24, 1931. He was one of seven children. He worked alongside his father and brothers on the family farm in both Kansas and Iowa.
He served in the United States Air Force from January 1950 to December 1953.
Paul married Patricia in December 1952 and they had two sons, Paul Jr. and David.
Paul drove across the country as a long-haul truck driver for Red Devil Fireworks, Groendyke Transport, and Carnation. He owned his own business as an auto mechanic. He was also a mechanic for Mother's Cookies. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, a good cup of coffee with an oatmeal raisin cookie, and chicken fried steak. He lived in Kansas, Iowa, California, Arizona and Colorado.
Paul is survived by two sisters, two brothers, two sons, six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by two brothers.
Memorial Service will be held at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery on Friday, August 29, at 3:00. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to HopeWest Hospice.
