Services will be at 10 a.m. July 26 at Clifton Christian Church.

Survivors include one son, Clark Shaw of Greeley; three daughters, Carol Sturgeon of Fruita, Marilyn Whitcomb of Yuma, Arizona, and Christie Williams of Mancos; 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Ruby Annette Allen Shaw, age 93 years, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at her daughters home in Mancos, CO. Mrs. Shaw was born on February 4, 1924 in San Acacio, CO to the late Walter F. Allen and Annette Ellen Coulson Allen. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Edwin B. Shaw whom she married on June 1, 1947 at the Clifton Christian Church; her daughter, Kathy Lynn Shaw; and her sisters, Evelyn Oberly and Alta Watson.

She spent her childhood in the Grand Valley where she graduated from Clifton High School and attended Mesa Junior College. She was a member of Clifton Christian Church where she was very proud of her Christian service to the church, the missions, and her community.

Survivors include her daughter, Carol Sturgeon and husband Jim of Fruita, CO; daughter, Marilyn Whitcomb and husband Larry of Yuma, AZ; daughter, Christie Williams and husband Steve of Mancos, CO; and son, Clark Shaw and wife Melinda of Greely, CO. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to celebrate her life at the Clifton Christian Church, 3241 F 1/4 Rd., Clifton, CO 81520 on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 10:00am. Burial will take place in Palisade Cemetery, Palisade, CO.
