“Teddy Russell Bina Cowboy"
Ted was born in Meeker, Colorado on November 8th, 1966 to Carrie and Ted Bina. He graduated from Meeker High School in 1985 and Mesa State College in 1987, where he earned an associates degree in Auto Mechanics. He was an incredible parts manager and spent the majority of his career at Columbine Ford in Rifle. He could and would rattle off part numbers in his sleep.
Growing up Ted’s family owned the White River Bowl, so he was quick to become a very talented bowler that would outscore you every time. He participated in many local and national tournaments for bowling and had several trophies and awards to show for it. Ted was an avid outdoorsman who always said that he was born 100 years too late; he should’ve been a cowboy. He believed nature was his church and loved hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, old Chevys, and buggy rides. He earned many impressive accomplishments for his bowling, hunting, fishing, and mud racing.
He made sure that his children “Brat” and “Boog” grew up sharing the same passion for his hobbies. His legacy will live on through the lessons he taught and the love he shared. The memories made will be cherished forever. Now all of the fish and wildlife can live in peace, without having to keep an eye out for Ted.
Some other things Ted “Tedro” “Turbo” “Poppy” will be remembered for:
-He named himself “Teddy Russell Bina Cowboy” when he was 4 or 5 years old.

-He was very crafty and has made countless coat hangers, jewelry racks, wine openers, and jewelry out of antlers and turquoise.

-Poppy loved to play with Ellie. She would sleep so well after visiting - lots of laughs and smiles!

Ted leaves behind his children Mackenzie Zundel (Cameron), Tristin Bina, Granddaughter Ellie Zundel, His “Sweets” Barb Tedesco, Sister LaVina Reese (Larry) and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
