Theresa (Tess) Ann Mullin, 81 of Grand Junction, CO passed away on the 13th of April 2026. She was born on the 15th of June 1944 in Elizabeth City, NC to John & Amelia Pearson. She met Peter T. Mullin in a kissing booth at a college carnival, they married in 1967.

After living in Kansas & Denver, they moved to Grand Junction, where they raised their children. They enjoyed hiking, camping & Jeeping. Tess was a teacher for 32 years and was adored by her students. Everyone wanted to be in Mrs. Mullin’s class!

After retirement they moved to the foot of The Colorado National Monument, where they loved 3 Golden Retrievers, Truffles, Sophie & Gabby. Tess loved to go to the beach, scrapbook, read, garden and quilt, as well as spend time with her friends. In the last 2 years she adopted a black cat named Boo who brought her much joy. Tess was unstoppable & lived a vibrant life. She will be missed!

Tess was a loving Mother & Grandmother. She is survived by her son Matthew Mullin (Sandy); her daughter Jennifer Mullin; granddaughters, Katelynn McKitrick (a special joy) (Jesus Rivera), and Brennaya Mullin; grandsons, Landen and Matthias Mullin. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, and her husband Pete.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Fall. Donations may be sent to the Parkinson’s Foundation or the PSP & CBD Foundation.
