Survivors include his mother, Joyce “Kim” Bechthold of Grand Junction; one brother, Bryan Lilly of Fort Collins; and one sister, Jane Lyne Lilly of Fort Collins.

Thomas Duff Lilly, deeply beloved and cherished son, passed from this life February 15, 2017, due to apparent heart failure.

After attending the University of California, Davis Mr. Lilly became an awarded mutual fund salesman and he expertly consulted to and advised the family businesses in sales and marketing for 25 years. He was a world-class skier, loved music, rock concerts and dancing, and the Broncos, Rockies and 49ers. He raised and cherished 7 Golden Retrievers over his lifetime. He was loved by his many friends for his laughter, his fun-loving spirit, his readiness for a new adventure and his willingness to ski any slope, bicycle to the top of any mountain, and meet any of life's challenges with enduring confidence and courage.
Mr. Lilly's family would like to thank St. Mary's Hospital doctors, nurses and staff for their extraordinary care and, most importantly, Dr. William Lockwood for his expert care and unwavering compassion.
Mr. Lilly is survived by his mother, Joyce Kim Bechthold and uncle, Wayne Bechthold, both of Grand Junction; brother, Bryan Lilly; sister, Janelyn Lilly; nephew, Cooper Lilly, and step-mother, Judy Lilly, all of Fort Collins; aunt, Linda Lilly of Greeley and aunt, Pat Lockhart of Colorado Springs; uncles, Tim, Mark and Kevin Lilly of Greeley. His father, Thomas Joe Lilly of Loveland, preceded him in death.
