

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Canyon View Ward, 2542 G Road. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at 1 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.
She was a secretary for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Survivors include two daughters, Carla Mills of Lehi, Utah, and Cynthia Neff of Grand Junction; one brother, Leon Heaton of Denver; and nine grandchildren.
Vaunda Lynn Heaton Brower was born January 23, 1937, in Goshen, Bingham County, Idaho, to John Chauncey Heaton and Emily Kirsten Marie Nielsen. She was the last child of nine.
She married Ben Carl Brower in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on June 24, 1960, and had three children: Natalie Kim (Scott) Hair; Carla (Jerry) Mills, and Cynthia (Aaron) Neff. She is survived by Carla and Cindy;, one brother, Leon (Doris), and one sister-in-law, Mary Carmen Heaton (wife of Alan). She has nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She attended school at Ricks (BYU-I) and Utah State. She graduated with her Bachelors at Mesa State in Business and had various jobs ranging from working with the IRS to Secretary of the Grand Junction Office of the FBI working with her husband, Ben. Together they served a mission from 1997 to 1999 in the Frankfurt LDS Mission. Ben passed December 21, 2010.
Services will be held on June 13 at the LDS church on G Road with the viewing at 10:00, and services following at 11:00. Burial will take place at the VA Cemetery with her spouse.
