

Virginia L Campbell was born April 6, 1932, in Haxtun, Colorado, the youngest child of Glen and Geneva Campbell. Virginia was preceded in death by her brothers Glen Campbell Jr. and Gene Campbell. Virginia married her High School sweet-heart Leslie Belden on June 18, 1950. They had two sons Ron and Ric Belden.
She is survived by her husband Les who she was married to for 75 years. Two sons Ron and (Kathy deceased 2012) Belden of Richland Washington and Ric and Vicki Belden of Grand Junction Colorado. Virginia has five grandchildren Travis Belden (deceased 1992), Debbie Dyslin of Windsor CO, Ricci Hallmann of Benton AR, Sean Belden of Parker CO, and Lesley Belden of West Richland WA. She has 7 great-grandchildren Emily and PJ Hallmann, Lukas Guereca, Jake and Maddie Dyslin, Liana and Abigail.
Virginia worked for City Market for 20 years. In 1970 Les and Virginia bought a boat and spent endless hours teaching family and friends to waterski. Many family vacations were spent camping and boating at Lake Powell. Les and Virginia retired in 1990 and spent 16 years traveling in their 5th wheel motor home between Grand Junction and Arizona. In retirement Virginia became an avid gardener of beautiful purple Alliums that were transplanted from her parents’ garden.
An intimate gathering of friends and family will occur on the 17th of February at Memorial Garden's Cemetery in Grand Junction, CO. All who wish to attend are invited. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to HopeWest Hospice Care Center, who provided their mother with comfort and care in her final days.
